Vision Statement
Mission Statement

Since 1949, the centerpiece of Medical Center Radiology Group’s practice has been to improve the health of the community we serve by offering the highest quality and most cost efficient delivery of medical imaging in the region.

As Central Florida’s leading provider of highly specialized, state-of-the-art imaging and imaging-guided therapies, we work every day to achieve the most accurate diagnosis for every patient and the trust of our fellow physicians. The radiologists and health care professionals of MCRG are especially proud to serve the patients of Orlando Health and to contribute to our hospital partner’s success through our focus on timeliness, accuracy, cost-control, effectiveness and quality professional outcomes.

Over the last two years, MCRG has broadened its geographic delivery of services, expanded our team of board-certified clinicians, launched initiatives in patient safety, expanded our use of new technologies, and worked in collaboration with national organizations of radiological excellence on organizational and clinical innovations, as you will read throughout our annual report.

In 2015, MCRG announced one of the group’s most significant expansions in our seven-decade history – a joint venture with Orlando Health to acquire and operate Boston Diagnostic Imaging Centers. The centers are strategically located throughout the region and are well positioned to complement other services offered by Orlando Health.

The center of MCRG’s quality assurance program for the past several years has been Radpeer, the American College of Radiology peer review program. From 2013 to 2015, MCRG radiologists have reviewed nearly 55,000 cases. Even more impressive is the maintenance of a significant variance rate of approximately 0.1 percent. Through other innovations, including transitions to new information technologies, MCRG has seen significant improvement in reducing turnaround time, providing critical results as efficiently as possible to referring physicians.

We are honored to announce that MCRG’s standing as one of the most clinically-advanced practices in the country has earned our group affiliation with the prestigious Strategic Radiology, a consortium of geographically diverse and forward-thinking practices representing more than 1,300 radiologists. Through affiliation with SR, MCRG adds value for its practice and hospital partners in many ways, including engaging with trusted radiology groups across the United States to share data and best practices.

As we forge ahead with new business ventures and innovations in advanced medical care, MCRG remains focused on its mission to optimize diagnostic imaging for compassionate patient care through integrity, professionalism, teamwork and financial responsibility. We extend our gratitude to all on our team for their commitment to this goal and to their unwavering dedication to advancing the profession of radiology and healthy living across the region.
