Richard J. Lovas, M.D.

Dr. Lovas, Board-certified in both Nuclear Medicine and Pathology, joined Medical Center Radiology Group in 1997 to take on the responsibility of Chief of Nuclear Medicine at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Originally from New York, his undergraduate degree was received from The Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn and his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York.

Dr. Lovas’ Pathology residency included two years at the New York University Medical Center and 18 months at Orlando Regional Medical Center. His Nuclear Medicine residency was completed at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in New York City.

He is a member of The Society of Nuclear Medicine and Academy of Molecular Imaging.
