Medical Center Radiology Group

Dr. Valdes is a Board certified diagnostic radiologist who joined Medical Center Radiology Group in 2001. He completed his undergraduate studies graduating magna cum laude, and then proceeded to earn both an M.S. and a PhD in Anatomy and Cell Biology prior to receiving his MD, all from the University of Miami. As a member of the faculty of the U of M School of Medicine, he served as director of the PhD-MD Gross Anatomy course for over a decade.

Dr. Valdes completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Mt. Sinai Medical Center where he was appointed Chief Resident. He joined Coral Gables Radiology Group, ultimately becoming Chief of Radiology at two Miami hospitals before joining MCRG.

Currently, he is Chairman of Radiology at South Lake Hospital in Clermont.
