Medical Center Radiology Group (MCRG) has an immediate opening for a full time pediatric radiologist to join 3 full time and 2 part-time pediatric radiologists providing coverage for Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando FL. This 205 bed facility provides tertiary pediatric subspecialty care for all of Central Florida and recently expanded to include a 100 bed NICU, 33 bed acute care ER, and 17 bed pediatric ICU. The pediatric radiology department contains state of the art equipment including a 64-slice Siemens CT in the ER, a newly ordered low dose dual source CT, 1.5T Siemens MR, as well as the latest high resolution ultrasound scanners. The department is fully digital with system-wide GE Centricity PACS and integrated Powerscribe dictation/transcription.

MCRG is a diverse 31-person private practice group with a 60 year exclusive relationship with Orlando Regional Healthcare and its 7 affiliated hospitals. The pediatric radiologist opening is 2.5 year equal partnership track position. Generous salary commensurate with experience the first 6 months followed by compensation based on a percentage of partnership income for the remaining 2 years. Shareholder income is in the 90th percentile of hospital based practices. Modest buy-in based on accounts receivable. Call is 1 in 4 weekends and weeknights with in-house 24 hour coverage by general radiologists limiting the number of after hours calls to the pediatric radiologists. 8 weeks vacation, paid malpractice, generous automobile, meeting and CME allowance.
