Vertebroplasty

Vertebroplasty is a procedure used to stabilize crushed vertebrae by injecting special bone cement used for medical purposes.  The procedure takes approximately one to two hours depending on how many bones are being treated.

The procedure will be performed by one of our interventional radiologists.  An interventional radiologist is a physician who has had special training to diagnose and treat conditions using miniaturized tools while watching their progress on X-ray or other equipment.
