Women's Imaging

The specialty of women's imaging represents one of the most innovative and dynamic segments of radiology.  Women’s Imaging is a sub-specialty within diagnostic radiology devoted to the diagnostics and treatment of diseases and conditions unique to women.  State-of-the-art mammography has helped to reduce the mortality associated with breast cancer. 

The past decade has seen the introduction of digital mammography.  MCRG incorporates the latest technology in testing procedures.  Patients can have tests done on new digital mammography equipment, which currently exists in many of the hospital locations.  Digital mammograms take digital images of the breast, allowing doctors to magnify and change the contrast of an image, resulting in improved chances of detecting breast cancer.

MCRG utilizes board certified radiologists to read these images and help discover cancers at the earliest possible time.
